I recently have been feeling a bit overwhelmed...like I need to slow down...life is moving too fast! I don't like it one bit and just have that unsettled feeling, like I don't get any quite time to 'just relax.' I've got so much on my plate, I stay up to all hours of the night and still feel unaccomplished sometimes. Somethings gotta change. Oh, not to mention...I need to get to sleep at a reasonable hour since I get up at 6:30am to get children ready for school, etc.
I love Tea, so I picked up some Yogi Tea yesterday to try something different.
I got this...
...to drink at night to settle down or when I'm feeling overwhelmed. And I got this...
..for in the mornings when I need a kick in the rear ;-) I don't drink coffee and try not to drink much caffeine at all so I'm not used to having a morning drink...but I need something.
When I got home, I read the warning label that said 'Do not drink if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.' I'm still nursing so now I can't even enjoy this tea that was calling my name from the shelf, tee hee.
Also, my husband came home talking about 'Transcendental Meditation' last week and I'm liking the sound of it more every day.
So this brings me to why I'm blogging about all of this. I'd like to know...what teas or meditation techniques do you like, or simply what do you do to relax and feel calm?
I'm up for trying anything here people...it's gotten to that point. So please do tell, I'd really appreciate it!

That tea looks YUMMO!!!
That tea looks yummy...I've been drinking a half glass of stout beer @ night to increase my milk supply (nursing still), and it also relaxes me a bit...but the tea sounds like a nice way to relax at the end of a long day.
I like to take a nice bath. With candles. The bubbles are nice too.
I drink unsweet tea with honey!
Bummer about the tea! One mroe thing to look forward to with weaning.
I drink hot chocolate (sad) or roibos tea with lemon when I'm really watching the calories. I like to make a 32-oz water bottle of tea and drink it throughout the morning - it's not too bad lukewarm.
I don't know what to tell you. I have not figured it out for myself yet.
I love Yogi tea. I'm not a coffee drinker either.
I work out to relax. For me, it's really soothing to sweat. I feel stronger and like I can accomplish anything, because I am tough. It's cheesy, I know.
I LOVE TEA. Occasionally I'll experiment with flavored teas. But always go back to just regular sweet tea.
Knitting relaxes me. Oh and reading blogs. LOL
