Neighborhood Critters & rambling thoughts

Boy, I've missed you all! I'm still running around her trying to 'Spring Clean' & get the studio ready...still so much to do. But we've also been enjoying this beautiful weather. We just can't pass that up. I have a feeling my laptop will be going out with me some this summer while the girls ride their bikes and play...otherwise I may never post and be able to visit my pals, tee hee.

We're are all about warm, sunny weather & I'm stoked we are getting some this weekend. The girls have soccer games and I'm sure we'll spend the majority of the weekend outside and organizing the garage, so I wanted to post now while I can.

Here are some little critters we've captured running around the neighborhood...

...anyone know what kind of bird this is? I need to get out my bird book.
We thought it was beautiful...

...although apparently it didn't reciprocate the feeling ;-)

And who is this?...

...and who is she waving to?...

...and is that a white heart in water right under her? It sure looks like it...how cute it that?

Oh, the lovebirds...she was waving to her duck pal...I think love is in the air (or water ;-)

And remember those pretty little eggy darlings? Well, this little bunny foo foo was the one who delivered them to our house, tee hee...

...isn't he a cutie pie? I swear...we took our evening stroll and there must've been at least four bunnies hopping through the forest tonight!

And the best catch of the evening was this doll baby...

...thank goodness Easter-bunny-foo-foo put butterfly nets in the girls baskets this year! Otherwise, what would we have caught her with, hehe?

In other news...the desk in the new studio is so cluttered with half finished projects that I've had to move to the floor. And this, as you can see, doesn't work so well...

Not sure if my boys love me so much, they can't stand missing a second of mommy cuddle time (because 'when mommy's on the floor, she's mine...all mine') or they were loving the smell of the vanilla coffee beans I was using to hand dye some things for the shop? What do you think? Come on...make me feel special.

Do you ever imagine what your pet (or any animal or baby for that matter) is thinking? Or what they would sound like if they could talk?

Our boxer, Roscoe, would totally be an Eeyore, hehe. I've always thought that's how he'd sound if he could talk. And my Dinky, well...I think he'd be a whiny thing...and he'd cuss like a sailor when he was mad at me, ha. I can just see it in his eyes when I scold him. But he's still my little mama's boy, hehe. They are both so good, we are lucky!

Am I starting to ramble? And I've asked a million questions...so I must go to bed now because I am pretty soon going to start not making any sense at all.

I hope everyone has a sunshiny & beautiful weekend filled with lots of hugs & kisses from little critters everywhere!

Peace out Chicken...

Jaime
