My girlfriend over at WorkoutMommy teaches an awesome Boot Camp class, so I thought I'd be brave and try it out this morning. Boy, was I sorry...I felt so out of shape, the other ladies in the class were totally showing me up and I barely made it through half the class before I almost puked! I have to laugh at myself because I used to be the chick kickin' butt in those classes. Now, 12 weeks after the birth of my 3rd child, I'm the wimpy mom who quits before it's over. I have to look at the bright side though. It showed me that I need to get back into a workout routine, so next time I go to Boot Camp, I can lunge, lunge, lunge with those medicine balls over my head and not almost knock over the person next to me (sorry, nice lady in the black shorts).
I checked my heart rate monitor after class and I was in zone 5 for over 10 minutes and zone 4 for about 15 minutes (which is sad considering I didn't finish the class), haha. So thanks for the great workout WorkoutMommy and next time, I promise to make it at least 3/4 of the way through before almost passing out :-)
