Valentine Wreath Tutorial for January Etsyblogger Blog Carnival

Of course...me o' my...I've waited until the last possible moment to submit my Etsyblogger January Blog Carnival...but here it is...WOO HOO!

A little Valentine craft tutorial...so very easy :-)

You take this...

...and spray it on this...

I got this feathered wreath from Target' Boutique on sale (No, no, I didn't glue the feathers on).

Then, you sprinkle on this...

...and you add these cuties...

I got these cute little Love Birds from Michaels after Christmas sale!

And, VOILA'...

A LOVEBIRD WREATH for VALENTINE'S DAY!

Isn't he just the cutest lil' thing you've ever seen?

Was that not the easiest tutorial ever, hehe?

And yes, I know it needs something.  I've got just the thing but didn't have enough sunlight to get a good picture of it.  I've got some heart ornaments I think I'll add to it to jazz it up a bit.  When I do, I'll share the final pic...but with my procrastinating self...it had to be submitted as is...for now :-)

It definitely isn't my best wreath ever!  I'm still lovin' my wreath from THIS POST and actually still have it on my door.  Is that bad?  No, no, no...because it's still winter and we need some more snow.  I'll take it down when it warms up a bit.

And if you liked this wreath, you'll LOVE the VALENTINE'S TREE to match...you'll just have to check back for more on that ;-)

And just to update you...WE DID IT!

  3. So sweet! I made a white feather wreath like that for my daughter's room with pink and lavender birds. I'm stealin' it out of her room right now, adding some sparkle and putting it out on my seasonal table! Thanks for the great inspiration! (and very easy tutorial!)

  4. WOW!!! I never even thought to use that spray on glue with glitter (the most wonderful stuff ONTHEPLANET!!!). I cannot wait to give something like this a try! I can hear my spray on glue calling to me from the closet. The glitter is sitting right here with me thought (by my side always)!

    Thanks for the great idea!
