...is going on around the blogosphere...which is one reason I love to be a part of it! I've seen sooo many HOLIDAY GIVEAWAYS (& done a few myself), FREE PRINTABLES, discounts on ETSY, and various SWAPS, just to name a few. I've met so many people that just want to give and help and BE NICE...it's like the mother-load of smiley faces when I log on & check in to what my bloggy peeps are up to :-) See look, I'm smiling just thinking about it!
I was just checking out Mizfit's latest blog post and it's quite hillarious (you'll see what I mean when you read her Friday Rhyme.) But on with the goodness! For every comment she receives on that post between now and Christmas Eve, she's donating 10 cents to her local domestic violence shelter...how sweet! And she's at almost 500 comments so far, so she's gonna be emptying out her pockets, but for such a great cause! So go check her out, she's got a great fitness blog...and while your there, comment away!
Also, I wanted to post the pics of my DQ getting her swap goodies from the Mommy Holly Christmas Swap. She got "Insect-o-poly" and the Nativity book which she LOVED (as you can tell), a fleece blanket, a lion stuffed animal, a chocolate Santa (which somehow ended up in our freezer, hehe), a flower hair bow, some cool stickers, and a handmade advent calendar. She was so excited to receive her package from her new friend in Las Vegas. We took her there when she was 5 for a family wedding and has been obsessed with it ever sense (I think because of all the fun lights and huge buffets :-) So when she found out her swap partner was from there, she just was so thrilled and thought it was the neatest thing.
I took a few more pictures but for some reason can't get them uploaded so when i can, I'll post them. The advent calendar was really neat...handmade with stockings and a lollipop on a string to stick in each stocking on the right day, very creative! And she has taken her blanket and lion everywhere, including a sleep-over last weekend. So THANKS to her partner, what a fun swap!
Hope everyone has had a magical weekend...we've been busy, busy, busy as I know all of you have too. So much to do to get ready for Christmas, so I'm off...
